- Coin stereogram 2009. To observe these coins in 3D relax and stand back from the monitor about three (3)
feet and hold your arm out straight with your thumb up. Stare at your thumb, while looking at the coins on the screen. Then slowly move your
thumb (still facing up) towards you while still looking at the coins. Some of the coins will lift off the monitor and appear in space. The pdf file with the coins images must
first be displayed on the monitor. After the coins are displayed in 3D try placing your left and right hands over the left and right outer
columns of coins. Some of the coins will be closer to your face than your hands.
Alternately place your nose close to the center coin on the display and then slowly move away from the monitor screen. This will make the
coins fall back from the monitor and appear behind the screen.
This is the first time coins have ever been displayed as a 3D stereogram.
